intricacies of cognition

SHE came to our college on the third day. she wore a white suite (her favourite one)defining & complementing her figure .With an uncertain ,nervous look in her eyes she mingled well with the herd of "freshers".I being the first person to talk to her asked her name ,then her rank & conversation followed ...
Slowly as time passed in this new seemingly uncomfortable place we came close to each other as persons .
SHE,A girl with simple & charming dressing sense ,dusky beauty with chiseled features & impressive creativity ingrained in her ,embellished with the art of knowing any person in a blink of an eye yet the most approachable and who always said every word from the bottom of her heart; was THE perfect candidate for any guy to fall for which in fact did happen as well !!!

then what happened ?...

well nothing as such happened yet everything had changed ...

this girl was dying each day ;no not because she was physically unwell but certainly ill on the mental front .
SHE was suffering & killing herself each second . SHE became a living carcass .

why ? what went wrong ?...

we both somewhat shared the common dislike for the place where we had landed & often used to discuss the alternatives .
HER disinterst towards the course ,failure to excel in studies & inability to take hold of her life was understandable .But she lingered on ...she never came out ...she just stayed & slept over her situation ...destroying herself day after day ...

result

she got distanced from her friends ,
she lost her seemingly well committed boyfriend ( actually cant blame him ),
apart from the tag of good rankers that she was stripped of long time back...

conclusion

this is the extreme conditon of a mental disorder experienced & understood on a personal scale whereby the person is incapable of snapping out of the vicious circle
of ennui , procrastination and inability to effectively act upon the solution of problems in life . where the person quits trying to help himself and nails himself in the perennial walking coffin of self disgust.

human mind is an enigmatic puzzle , simply decoding .... its the purported fickle chemical reactions taking place inside the grey matter which decide the entire persona of an individual . if we get hold of this then we'll get hold of everything ...
